Paathshaala Movie review

Before I start the review, I should remind you all about my trip to Rishikesh, about which I will be posting soon.

Movie Review Begins

I don’t think anyone of you would want to see this, and hence I am gonna reveal the story. Moreover, the director himself proclaimed that he didn’t bother about the commercial viability of the theme, but he wanted the masses to get the message.

Message : Running a school has become a commercial job, not remaining anymore a ‘noble’ profession.

Basically, that is the story, where a certain ‘Saraswati Vidya Mandir’ is portrayed. To emphasize on that, a little spice is added in the form of Shahid Kapoor and Ayesha Takiya and Nana Patekar(??) . The plight of the children is shown, and a lot of extra drama is added.

In short, don’t watch it, 70% of what is shown is not true (as far as I know), no schools can be so bad (enrolling their children to reality TV shows forcibly etc etc.)

Yours,

Tejas 😀
